What is Hawaii?
Hawaii is a volcanic archipelago (chain of islands) that is part of Polynesian subregion of Oceania. There are eight main islands, along with other islands, atolls, reefs, shoals, and banks. The eight main islands are: Hawai'i, Maui, O'hau, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Niʻihau, and Kahoʻolawe. Hawaii also has a very warm, tropical climate, and has a lot of spectacular scenery and wildlife. It is one of my favorite states in the U.S.
